My mentor for this project, Sarah, has an incredible biodynamic farm which I will be visiting before I start my own biodynamic garden, so I can learn about setting up a biodynamic garden, and the preparations used in biodynamics - as these are best learnt first hand rather than over the internet. Because I won't be able to get to Sarah's biodynamic farm until early April, she has told me to watch One man, One cow, One planet, as she said it would be good to base my project off, as well as reading Peter Proctor's book, Grasp the Nettle, which is very in-depth and covers everything (I've ordered this online). This documentary was a great way to get inspired about biodynamic gardening, as you get to see biodynamic farming in action, as well as learn about:

- Making compost

- Cow pat pits

- Preparations e.g. Dandelion and Cow horn dung, and how they connect to the planetary forces

- Spraying the preparations in a spiral

- Flow forms

- Planting calendar

- pest control

- Harvesting and marketing

All of which I will talk about in further detail in individual posts.
