Wednesday 11th May - Ascending moon - flower day (Gemini) : green leafy crops, and seeds sown will also do well.

Inquired with Harvest Whole foods about ordering organic seeds of Yarrow, Tansy, Comfrey, chamomile, and stinging nettle. If I manage to get these seeds by Wednesday, I'll plant the seeds in seedling trays.

Plan out garden by working out where we want different crops, and use companion planting methods to work out which plants will go in what beds, Also see what seeds we have, and what we need to purchase.

Saturday 14th or Sunday 15th of May - Ascending moon - Fruit/Seed day - plant broad bean seeds in garden.

Wednesday 18th May - Ascending moon - Root day - I'm a bit confused about what to do on this day because ascending moon and root days are opposites. So I'll ask Sarah about this, and hopefully she will be free on this day to do another workshop with me. I'd like to learn how to do the 500 preparation and put this on the garden before Autumn ends, but it needs to be done in a descending moon, so maybe on the 1st of June. I also need to build a compost, but I need to get organic hay and cow manure, which I'm struggling to find a source of, compost also needs to be built in a descending moon, so I am going to have to wait to do that as well - I'll probably do this on the 25th of May, as this is the first day of the descending moon.

I went for a walk this afternoon and found some good materials which I can use in my compost, such as pine needles, decomposing and dry leaves. I could also use some soil from the native bush to insert my preparations into, which arrived yesterday in the post, as the preps are best inserted into the best quality soil you can find, and the soil in the bush will be amazing because the bush is self sustainable and has built up its own soil over hundreds of years.
